Authors are kindly requested to respect the 20.000 characters limit and follow the publication format guidelines provided by the organizers. The text should be accompanied by a disclaimer for the publication of the paper in the paper version of the Congress Proceedings or online.
Both documents are comprised in this message or are available for download on the congress' website here.
The scientific committee will select 32 contributions, based on their pertinence to the congress topics (as stated on the website www.ediarche.it), their scientific innovation and, only if the number of applications exceeds such number, the application date. The poster's abstracts will be posted online in the appropriate forum discussion.
In order to acquire a greater thematic homogeneity, all authors dealing with archaeological sessions are kindly requested to limit the discussion to evidence dealing with the geographical areas of Near East and the Italic world. The chronological framework should range between the Bronze Age and the period previous to the romanization, aiming to focus on the major examples of pre-roman archaeological evidence -between the Late Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age- and to look for a historical-anthropological approach. For papers dealing with the anthropological sessions, there are no chronological or geographical constrains ma authors are invited to focus their attention on case studies dealing with pre-industrial agricultural communities, as these cultural contexts are more appropriate to be compared with ancient societies.
The successful applicants will be contacted by the organizers during the first week of May. It is important to notice that for copyright reasons the organization team will prevent the download, copying or printing of any of the posters published online. The selected papers will be published in the Congress Proceedings before the next congress. The organization team reserves the right of publishing elsewhere, and with the previous agreement of the participants, those contributions that were not selected by the committee .
Further information and all application forms can be downloaded from the Congress section online: www.ediarche.it
